Conversational Spanish is for students who WANT to learn to speak Spanish. Señora T is privileged to be part of FUNdamentals and help her students continue their journey to becoming bilingual. ¡Sí se puede! = Yes, you can!
Jr. & High School Class is for students in 7th – 12th grades who speak some Spanish. This is a continuing conversational class where students participate in “around the table” discussions and “assisted” oral presentations on given topics in a peer-friendly environment. Activities and games encourage talking in class. Where else do you hear that?! Reading, listening and writing is part of homework, but this should not be considered a writing class. Improving Spanish speaking skills is the goal. Señora T likes to keep the class size small (10 max.) so students get as much “talk” time as possible. Weekly homework is assigned and is posted on the Jr. & High school homework page. See menu on HOME page.
Conversational Spanish Beginner Class is for students in 3rd grade & Up who are starting their Spanish speaking journey. We start with the ABCs, letter sounds, useful vocabulary and listening to Spanish stories for “ear training”. Students will participate in “assisted” oral presentations and “around the table” discussions on given topics. Reading, listening and writing is part of homework, but this should not be considered a writing class. Speaking Spanish is the goal. Señora T likes to keep the class size small (10 max.) so students get as much “talk” time as possible. Weekly homework is assigned and is posted on the Beginner homework page. See menu on HOME page.
For all Spanish classes: there is only one requirement- THE STUDENT must be the one who wants to learn Spanish!
