Listening Activities

Hola estudiantes,

Here you will find listening activities to help you hear Spanish more often.  Some will be easier than others.  I will mark the harder ones with **

These listening activities may be difficult at first, but I believe in you!  Challenge yourself by listening and trying to pick out words you know. Then try again in a couple of months and see how many more words you recognize!

Listening is the other half of having a conversation, so it is important to attune your ear = make receptive or aware.

Practice makes progress 🙂

One of my favorite Read Alouds on youtube.

Es mi momento  por Giselle Torres

I found a GREAT youtube channel called Easy Spanish.  Here is a sample video.

Josh Groban singing  Aléjate = move away from me

I chose this video because of the close-ups.  I wish there were subtitles.  Watch his mouth movements to help you with pronunciation.

Here are the lyrics for your convenience.
